Compressed Gases - Computer Based Training

This Compressed Gases interactive safety training course on CD is convenient and easy to use. Individual employees can train at a time that is convenient for them, at their own pace. The system automatically tracks their progress in the course along with any completed quiz scores and bookmarks the learner’s place to make it easy to resume training if training is interupted. Upon completion of the course, and a 100% score, the employee will then be able to print a certificate of completion.

Compressed gases are used in a wide variety of industries and present hazards beyond those associated with the gases themselves. This course provides training needed to help both employers and employees control the physical and health hazards associated with compressed gases and the knowledge needed to work safely with compressed gases.

• Discuss the use of safety relief devices for compressed gas containers
• Discuss basic hazard recognition and control procedures
• Discuss safety planning that should be in place before any emergency involving compressed gases occurs
• Explain the steps in responding to emergency situations involving compressed gases
